What to know before you track your brand in Wenxin.

ERNIE is the family of models developed by Baidu. Wenxin is Baidu's assistant built on them, known in English as ERNIE Bot.

Wenxin is one of the main AI assistants in China. Brands selling there need to know how it presents them, since Western engines do not reflect Chinese answers.

Each engine retrieves different sources and names different brands. Two engines answering the same prompt can cite very different domains, so a good position elsewhere says little about Wenxin.
